An Evening with Bill Richards, Michelle Baker Jones and Fred Reinholdt

On October 21st 2019, The Maudsley Psychedelic Society was honoured to host an evening with Bill Richards, one of the pioneers of psychedelic psychotherapy. With insights from a career that has spanned pre-prohibition and contemporary psychedelic research, Bill gave the talk 'Sacred Knowledge: Perspectives on psychedelic research from 1963 to 2019'.

The talk was followed by a conversation with Michelle Baker Jones (Psychedelic Research Group, Imperial College London) and Frederick Reinholdt (Psychedelic Trials Group, King's College London), chaired by James Rucker (Psychedelic Trials Group, King's College London). The discussion reflected on the history of psychedelic science, current research efforts and directions for the future.
